("Humanas", "Company", or "we") collects, uses, stores, transfers, and protects personal data through the humanas.io corporate website (the "Website"). Humanas respects your privacy and is committed to processing personal data in a transparent and responsible manner in accordance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK") and related legislation.

This Policy applies to those who visit the Website, complete forms, request a demo, subscribe to the newsletter, apply for open positions, engage with the community or with the MetaCV/Lazy Guru experiences, and contact us. The Information Notice and Explicit Consent Statement shown when data is collected through the Website are an integral part of this Policy and contain details specific to the relevant processing activity.

  • Request and transaction data: demo requests, product/service interest, partnership or research collaboration requests, investor/media requests, and form messages.
  • Career and candidate data: role applied for, CV, portfolio, education, language, professional experience, competencies, and work preferences (within the scope of MetaCV / candidate profile).
  • Membership and community data: community membership, MetaCV interest, Lazy Guru/MetaCV interactions, and communication preferences.
  • Transaction security and technical data: IP address, browser and device information, operating system, pages visited, date/time, referring address, cookie preferences, and interaction data.
  • Marketing data: newsletter subscription, content preferences, and communication interactions.

Special categories of data: The Website forms are not intended to collect special categories (sensitive) of personal data. Please do not enter special categories of data such as health, religion, or ethnic origin in free-text fields. If behavioral assessments such as game data/HPT outputs are processed within the scope of platform services and inferences about health/neurological status are drawn from them, such data is subject to the special category data regime and separate explicit consent is obtained.

3. Methods of Collecting Personal Data

Personal data is collected by electronic means, through automated and partly automated methods, via contact, demo, newsletter, career, community membership, partnership, and research collaboration forms; cookies and similar technologies; emails and other communications you send us; and your interactions with the Website pages and content.

4. Purposes of Processing

Your personal data is processed to operate and improve the Website, respond to your requests, plan and manage demo and discovery meetings, evaluate B2B product/service interest, maintain potential customer and partner relationships, provide information about the BI Platform, Lazy Guru, MetaCV, and Fit Score services, evaluate research and collaboration requests, evaluate job applications and manage candidate communication, send commercial electronic messages to the extent you have given explicit consent, analyze site traffic and campaign performance, ensure information security, and fulfill legal obligations and to establish, exercise, or defend legal rights.

Where processing is based on explicit consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing.

6. Information About Profiling

Humanas' products and services may include profiling activities aimed at assessing the competencies, behavioral tendencies, and role/organization fit of candidates and employees (for example MetaCV, Fit Score, gamified assessment, and HPT outputs). Data collected within this scope is processed for the purpose of creating a profile about the individual. The basic logic and possible consequences of the profiling activity are explained in the relevant Information Notice, and separate explicit consent is obtained for profiling. Where an inference regarding health or neurological status is made, the special category data regime applies.

7. Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be shared, only to the extent necessary and in accordance with the law, with technology and hosting providers, web infrastructure, analytics, email and communication services, CRM/form management tools, legal-financial-professional advisors, authorized public institutions and organizations, and, to the extent lawful, business partners. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Because Lazy Guru and Humanas services are provided within the same company, there is no transfer of data to third parties between them. However, if MetaCV data is transferred to the HR units of an employer/company, separate explicit consent is obtained from the candidate; this consent can be withdrawn by the candidate at any time.

8. International Transfers

Some service providers used for website hosting, analytics, communication, or digital tools may be located outside Turkiye or may process data through systems in other countries. Where personal data is transferred abroad, Humanas carries out the transfer by ensuring the conditions required under KVKK Art. 9 are met (explicit consent, appropriate safeguards, or other prescribed conditions).

9. Retention and Destruction

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it is processed and limited to the statute of limitations/retention periods set out in the relevant legislation. When the periods expire or the reason for processing ceases, your data is deleted, destroyed, or anonymized in accordance with the Company's Personal Data Retention and Destruction Policy. You may use the contact channels in this Policy for your retention and destruction requests.

10. Data Security

Humanas takes reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage method is completely secure; therefore, we recommend not sharing unnecessary and especially special categories of information through forms.

11. Rights of the Data Subject (KVKK Art. 11)

Under KVKK Art. 11, you have the rights to: learn whether your personal data is processed; request information if it has been processed; learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose; know the third parties to whom data has been transferred domestically/abroad; request correction if processed incompletely/incorrectly; request deletion/destruction when the conditions are met; request that correction/deletion be notified to the third parties to whom data was transferred; object to a result against you arising from analysis solely by automated systems; and request compensation for damage due to unlawful processing. Your right to withdraw consent in consent-based processing is reserved.

You may submit your requests in writing in accordance with the Communique on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, or through the contact channels in this Policy. Your applications are concluded within 30 days at the latest.

12. Children's Privacy

The Website is primarily intended for corporate users, professionals, business partners, candidates, and community members. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without an appropriate legal basis or the required consent.

The Website may contain links to third-party websites, social media and video platforms, or partner sites. Humanas is not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of these sites; we recommend reviewing the relevant privacy notices before sharing personal data.
